To install the patch, download the appropriate file to your system, and then run it to install the patch. Details: For Windows® 2000/XP. Fixes a crash bug enabling Catz 4 and Dogz 4 to run. Only for the English versions of Catz 4 and Dogz 4. Under XP with the latest DirectX 9.0c installed the sound nolonger works in Catz 5, Dogz 5, or Petz 5 (install both and you get Petz 5). So either do NOT update Direct X because of one game or buy Windows Vista (which sound actually works with DirectX 9.0c.).

Aug 25, 2015Â It's easy enough to just make folders, since using profiles means petz didn't age properly anyway, so that's a simple workaround So it's safe to say that it still definitely works on Windows 10! I imagine the same/similar applies to Petz 5 but less people use it so I haven't heard much around it specifically. (Although I can't verify Petz 3 or 4 downloads, since I don't use those games.) Sometimes files are interrupted in download, and you get corrupted messages, especially for large files and especially if you use dial-up.
